About

Kanuba’s Space is my quiet corner for two things I love: building graphics-heavy software and documenting careful, legally compliant indoor cannabis cultivation and breeding endeavors. You’ll find dev logs from Common Lisp projects (rendering, engines, simulations, and more), grow journals that focus on method over mystique, and occasional design experiments.

This site is calm by design: no cookies, no analytics, no trackers—just writing, code, and results. I share what I learn so you can reuse what’s useful and skip the noise.

I’m Kanuba, a programmer who gravitates to low-level, graphics-oriented projects in Common Lisp: renderers, engines, and small simulations to test ideas. Alongside that, I keep meticulous cannabis grow journals intended to be practical, reproducible, and legally compliant.

As a programmer, I have a deep love for the elegance and power of Common Lisp. I specialize in graphics-related projects and find joy in crafting efficient, expressive code. Whether it’s pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with Lisp or hacking on a random idea, I’m always eager to learn and grow, or just scratch that itch at the very least.

I’m also a dedicated cannabis cultivator. While I don’t consume the plant anymore, I find it therapeutic to take care of this plant, and provide medicine to a few family members. I take great pride in nurturing my indoor and outdoor gardens, carefully tending to each plant’s needs and watching them thrive. From selecting unique genetics to mastering the art of pruning and training, and even some breeding, I’ve honed my skills over more than twenty years of hands-on experience.

So whether you’re a fellow Lisp enthusiast, a cannabis connoisseur, or just curious about the intersection of these two worlds, I hope you’ll join me on this journey.

If something I publish helps you ship a feature or improve your next harvest, that’s a win. Thanks for reading, and feel free to drop me an email to tell me about your experience sometime.

(let ((grow 'together)))
